Automate Numerik to Exo Integration

Fully automatic two way Sync of Exo Activities to Numerik Posts.

(Note this Integration is only available as an addition to the Numerik to Exo Sales Sync)

Synced Data Includes (Two Way).

  • Contacts (Will be Included in an Update as Numerik are working on the API)
  • Exo Activities
  • Numerik Posts

Updates to Posts in Numerik will be sent to Exo and Updates to Activities will be sent to Numerik.

Sync Standard Options Include.

  • Option to Sync Activities from Exo to Numerik.
  • Option to Sync Posts from Numerik to Exo.
  • Exclude Staff
    • List of Staff to Exclude from Numerik.
  • Exclude Exo Activity Types
    • List of Exo Activity Types to exclude from Numerik.
  • Exclude Exo Activity Statuses
    • List of Exo Activity Statuses to Exclude from Numerik.
  •  Sync HTML or Plain Text Notes.
  • Download Attachments
    • Download Attachments from Numerik Posts so they are available in Exo.
  • Numerik Tags link to Exo Activity Types.

Default Sync Logic

  • Exo Subject Logic
    • Subject is set as the first 60 Characters of the first line of the Post (When syncing a Post from Numerik to Exo).
    • Exo Subject is Added to the Post as the First Row of Text (When syncing a NEW Exo Activity to a Numerik Post)
    • Exo Subject is IGNORED when Updating an Exo Activity to Numerik Post
      • Updates to the subject in existing Exo Activities will be overridden with the first line of the Activity Details by the Sync
  • If opting to download attachments to Posts.
    • The files are saved in a local folder (Folder for each Activity).
    • Hyperlink to the Folder is added on the Extra Fields of the Activity.
  • Numerik Post of type “Note” with a Follow-up Date
    • In Numerik a Follow-up is a Date attached to a NOTE.
    • They can Not be assigned to anyone else. (Just for the user who enters the note)
      • Because of this if the Assigned to user of a Numerik NOTE is changed in Exo the change of staff will NOT Sync back to Numerik.
  • The way the sync handles this is,
    • A Note WITHOUT a Follow-up date = COMPLETED Activity in Exo.
    • A Note WITH A Follow-up date.
      • Not Completed – Open Activity in Exo.
      • Completed = Completed Activity in Exo.
    • Numerik “Task” Post
      • These can be Assigned to anyone in Numerik.
      • These should be used in Numerik instead of “Follow-up” dates on Notes.
    • Customer Contact on Posts/Activities
      • Currently the Numerik Activity data does not contain the Customer Contact Data. So, (Numerik are working on this)
        • Activities synced from Numerik to Exo can’t have Customer Contact assigned.
        • Activities synced from Exo to Numerik can’t have Customer Contact assigned.
    • Numerik “Comments” on Posts
      • Users can Comment on a Post in Numerik.
      • These are synced to Exo after the Note (See below Screen shots)
      • If staff add anything to the activity in Exo after the “##Comments##” line then it wouldn’t sync back to Numerik and would be deleted.
  • Exo Activities To Numerik Posts
    • Completed Exo Activity = Numerik Note.
    • In-Complete Exo Activity = Numerik Task.
